Hi, I am Abhishek Srivastava, a third year Masters student at the College of Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology. My areas of interest are Game Development and Mobile Computing. I am currently working towards my Masters degree in Computer Science and planning to graduate in Fall 2011.

For the summer I was interning at Mindspark Interactive Network (an IAC Company). It is an established 'Web Snacks' company with successful products like Smiley Central, Zwinky and facebook applications like HeartYou and The Flower Shop.

Before coming to Georgia Tech, I completed my Bachelor of Technology degree from SRM University, Chennai, India. I majored in Computer Science & Engineering.

I have a fair amount of experience in Mobile Application Development having worked with platforms like Android, iPhone and Blackberry. The development ranged from location based applications to code optimizations.

My interest in Game Development was the driving force because of which I chose to come to Georgia Tech. I have worked on several games. The details of a select few can be found on the projects page.

I am currently working on a facebook application on technologies like Spring MVC, jQuery and HTML/CSS. I am really fond of making cool, hack softwares.

Besides academics, I am a musician and play a lot of musical instruments. I can be found strumming the guitar, these days, in my free time(which is seldom).
