I received my PhD in Engineering Psychology and Human-Computer
Interaction at Georgia Tech Sonification
Lab (Interactive Computing & Psychology Lab).

I have worked as an Assistant Professor in the department of Cognitive and Learning
Sciences at Michigan Tech.
I am faculty member of Applied Cognitive Science and Human Factors Graduate Program.
Before GT,
I worked at LG Electronics Corporate
Design Center in Korea.
As a UX designer and sound designer, I experienced various UX designs of all
the LGE products
and was responsible for all the sound designs and automotive UI designs.
Also, I worked as an HCI researcher at DAUM
Communications (Korean Web Portal).
In a New Media Lab of Think Tank at DAUM, we envisioned a figure of "Y +
10 years" internet service.
Besides, I have worked with Samsung
Electronics, Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology,
Hyundai-Kia Motors Company, Toyota,
General Electric, Panasonic Automotive, and Centrafuse
conferences
such as Mobile HCI, CHI, HFES, ICAD, and AutomotiveUI. I have led
some bands and made several film scores. Recent
