Auditory Graphs Webpage

Auditiory Graph Model is an engine which is used to convert any graph into an Auditory Graph. This audio graph can be accessed by a visually impared person. The webpage was created for making the AGM more accessible for the general people who can use the tool for understanding of graphs. Alongwith the auditory graph, a text description of the graph is also generated using NASA's Math Description Engine. The research questions like the optimal layout of the website for visually challenged audience and layout of the graph had to be dealt with. .

Auditory Menu Library

I worked on the development and implementation of the Auditory Menu Library on various handheld devices like Android phones and BlackBerry Phones. These applications can help users with visual disabilities to navigate the device more easily. The objective of the research was to determine if auditory cues such as spindex and spearcons(ones that augment Text-To-Speech) help the visually impaired user to access the information faster.
